Short description

Nerve cells possess the fascinating ability to modify their electrical properties and connections in neuronal networks in response to environmental influences. This neuronal plasticity is the basis for learning and memory. Our group studies the cellular mechanisms underlying this phenomenon and examines its influence on the development of chronic pain.
