Short description

We investigate how stressful experiences and developmental processes in the social, psychological, and biological domains are linked to adolescent mental health. A special focus is on the emergence, maintenance, and cessation of risk-taking behaviors and self-harm. We aim to generate new insights into relevant risk factors and protective factors, to advance the early detection and prevention of self-harm and associated emotional and behavioral problems among adolescents.
